Shared Management
You lead the way, we support your journey
With Hale Foundation’s Shared Management approach, you gain the freedom to hire your own staff and manage your services while we assist with essential tasks like compliance, payroll, legal obligations and more. Together, we ensure your NDIS supports are tailored to your needs, giving you peace of mind and the power to focus on your life.
Our partnership approach
Hale Foundation works closely with you and your family to share the management of your plan and support arrangements.
Here’s what this looks like:
You choose how your supports are structured and what you require
With our continued support, you choose, train and employ your own team
Choose whether you manage your staff and plan directly or opt for a coordinated approach where we agree who takes on each task (like recruitment or budget monitoring)
We support with payroll, superannuation, and tax
We offer advice and ensure compliance with NDIS standards, the Quality and Safeguards Commission, FairWork and WorkSafe
We help you understand and manage legal and regulatory responsibilities
We help you with your restrictive practices through timely review, management and reporting to NDIS
Your choice, your team, your way
Shared Management is about collaboration, partnership and choice. With our support, you can decide how much control you want over different parts of your support. The approach is flexible – you manage what you want, and we provide guidance and take care of the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions
Shared Management
NDIS plan management helps you handle the financial side of your plan, including paying invoices, tracking budgets and reporting. Through our Shared Management approach, the person (or their representative) and the service provider share responsibility for completing key tasks and meeting all of the legal obligations associated with delivering funded supports and services to the individual. Some of the key responsibilities are insurances, NDIS reporting, compliance, income tax and other legal obligations.
Shared Coordination is an extension of the Shared Management approach where our Shared Management Advisor takes a more active role to support the employer and the workers in their team.
