What is NDIS ?

Who is Eligible for NDIS?
- Age: The person’s age must be between 9 and 65 years when applying.
- Citizenship: The person must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen who resides in Australia permanently.
- Disability: The person must have a permanent and significant disability that impacts their daily life and requires support for daily activities.
- Early Intervention: If the person has a condition that is likely to improve, they may still be eligible if early intervention can help.
Roles of Support Coordinator
- Find Services: Assist in finding and connecting with the right service providers.
- Manage Services: Helps in coordinating and managing the services the person is receiving.
- Set Goals: Work with the person to set and review their goals and make sure their plan supports these goals.
- Advocate: Provide advices and advocates for the person to ensure that they get the support they need.
- Monitor Progress: Keep track of how the supports are working and make adjustments if requires.
